In 2010, a life-changing motorcycle accident left Niek with a high-level spinal cord injury and syringomyelia. His body was permanently changed, and his daily life became one of chronic pain, physical limitations, and intensive medication. But Niek refused to let adversity define the rest of his life. Instead, he turned his greatest setback into his greatest source of strength. He rebuilt his life, met the love of his life, became a father of three daughters, and discovered a new purpose: helping people and organizations become stronger, more adaptable, and more resilient in the face of change.
